This tall, slab-built stoneware vessel from the ROOTS collection serves as a monolithic canvas, blending raw geological textures with painterly, abstract details. Its form suggests an artifact reclaimed from a shifting landscape, where organic and geometric elements converge. One face features a large, hand-etched circular arc that bisects the vessel, reminiscent of celestial paths or ancient cartography. The exterior is a rugged terrain of pitted craters, fine sgraffito lines, and raised mineral deposits that provide significant tactile depth. Clusters of bright yellow lichen-like textures and a singular, deep red "seal" or focal point at the base add bursts of energy to the muted palette.
